stanley + kathy | wedding highlightKathy and Stanley’s wedding is just one more example of a being at a wedding where we made some genuine new friends. The two of them had an absolute blast getting married, surprised their guests with a choreographed bride-and-groom first dance, and had one of the coolest waterfront spots to get married at. An August wedding in the rain — only for the ceremony, not to mention — but a perfect wedding at that. Edit by Robin Nuber on this one.

sarah + stefano | wedding highlightThere’s not much I can say to add to a wedding like this — outdoor ceremony at the stunning VanDusen Gardens, a breath-taking Berta dress, and an incredible sparkler ending as you can see from the video, and even seeing some familiar faces. But when it comes to the technical side of things, this wedding was a first in many ways: it was the first time using some new equipment, trying some new techniques, and facing some new challenges. It was one of the only weddings I’ve filmed entirely on my own while using a handful of new equipment — at one point running back and forth from the reception venue to the photoshoot with a heavy camera bag over my shoulder and carrying a camera in each hand, one on a stabilizer and one on a monopod… just in case I needed the right lens/effect/whatever to get that perfect shot. And, as you can see from the video, there are plenty of perfect shots. Another outstanding edit by the talented Robin Nuber. Fair to say we’re pretty much the dream team for any wedding.
